Justin Hurwitz is an American composer and screenwriter, known for scoring the film La La Land. He also scored Damien Chazelle's two other features, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench and Whiplash.For La La Land, he won the Golden Globe Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song (for "**** of Stars'). He also won the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music and is currently nominated for three Academy Awards: Best Original Score and Best Original Song twice (for "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)" and "**** of Stars").
